2009 Nissan Maxima pictures released

Arriving slightly ahead of the car's official unveiling at the New York Auto Show are the first photos of the new Nissan Maxima.

Together with the spy shots of the next 370Z, this Maxima suggests that arrowhead headlights and funky interior will be emerging trends at Nissan. No details are available yet, but the last word was that Maxima would finally move to the same platform that underpins the latest Altima, which means it will probably continue to be a slightly bigger, V6-only version of that car.
